#Disconnect between visual and mechanical damage

I know this is not a simulator, but there seems to somewhat often be a large disconnect between the damage the car takes mechanically and the damage it takes visually on normal damage. The screenshot below is on normal damage, and even after losing the 2 front tires and having the right tire pushed towards the rear, the car was only slightly more difficult to control, and kept speed easily.

I kinda like that the car can appear this destroyed, but I don't like that what you see is not what you get. Sometimes losing 1 or 2 wheels destroys handling, but sometimes it's like below where there is almost no difference. On normal damage, handling getting destroyed should be rare, but the visuals should match that.

There's a big difference between realistic and normal damage's mechanical damage severity.

I agree, WF1's damage isn't quite as refined, but the correlation between visual and mechanical does feel better and more intuitive
