It is impossible organize community events or races without password protecting the joining.

I can confirm that we are in desperate need of password-protected servers. Currently, we are unable to pay @hoary juniper 20 euros per month to secure access to the server. The lack of passwords completely ruins the pay-to-join fun we are used to with the original Wreckfest.

in fact secure password allows to limit incoming and play in community without trollers

Noted and high on the priority list. In the meantime launching the server with --local-server flag prevents it from being shown in the server list but it's still accessible from the internet with an IP if ports are correctly forwarded. Not a perfect solution, but will keep most of the random people out.

as a side note to that, being able to set the server to not be available on quick match would work wonders for clean racing servers

Quick match as in the "find match" button? That shouldn't match the players to community hosted servers, only the matchmaking servers hosted by us
