With more types, it could be extremely easy to create a team with all types and make battling easier than it already is, so more types will help the game, battle-wise. These are some types I'd like:

Light: Pokemon really missed out on this one with Ultra-Necrozma

Dark: Not the same as dark type in pokemon as that mainly covers evil and even in japan, it's the 'evil' type, plus with having more than 2 types, singling elements are more needed.

Emotion: Nexomon that consistently show extreme emotion.

Hero: Nexomon that are extremely strong and not prideful.

Sound type: Too much noises could be used as a weapon, an annoying weapon.

Drake (Dragon): Not a copy, we have greater and lesser drakes, enough to make a type I hope.

Ice: Seperate it from water pls.

Spectral: Psychic and ghost are mixed into arcane, although a ghost could be considered arcane, where's the fun in that?

Sturdy: You don't have to be a rock or any associated material to be sturdy.

With multiple types affinities, which Nexomon should be given a type, shouldn't be as hard to qualify because of more than 2 types for a single Nexomon, to qualify for a type, they should just relate to it physically, personality, indirectly (rare cases) and other methods I probably forgot about. For example Djinfernal, one of my favorite Nexomon so far, should be fire, spectral, emotion. This is just from it's looks and Nexopedia info, it could even be more, percentage of a type can be based on how much it influences the nexomon, whether it be physical, mental, emotional and more, I thought it could have battle influence but I don't think it would be balanced with some formulas I made making pure types OP, but there can obviously be a formula that makes it fair, if it does affect battles.
I'll be adding more types as I think of more btw.

There will be only 7 types:
Plant, Fire, Water, Electric, Mineral, Wind, Arcane

In Nexomon, having too many types would only be counter productive, like in extinction, psychic and ghost felt awkward, especially ghost. They looked like they were strong but ended up feeling lackluster and didn't fit on while with the type chart. In this case, less is more

Oh dear god not this again lol I honestly prefer to have ghost as a separate type but as long as the devs finally achieve type balance I wouldn’t mind the current setup
