#Sandwich making feature

But why though? We want Nexomon to differentiate itself from Pokémon not become more similar to it. Lore berries already work great just adjust them so they work for over-world encounters
But it would be nice to have other features instead of just battling
It would but not by copying from Pokemon - different franchise
Also, I don't really like the whole sandwich system. I only use it because I kinda have to
So I personally would be against it for that reason in addition to what was already said
Honestly, the effects given by the sandwiches can be done by just using the items directly from the inventory. It can also be incorporated into the new equipment system like how cores used to work.
Besides, most sandwich effects are kinda unnecesary when you can choose to apply said effects globally rather than by individual type.
I will say I did like the cooking minigames from gen 8 and 9 because I liked the idea of making a meal for my mons.
If there were a stat that measured your bond with your nexomon it could definitely affect that.
It doesn't have to be a sandwich or curry. Heck you could make a multitude of different meals, maybe a side-quest chain lets you unlock new recipes to try out, with or without a cooking minigame to go with them.
The mechanical benefits beyond increasing a 'friendship' stat could be stronger than using an item directly out of your inventory, or it could be used to give your nexomon a temporary power boost.
Or it could be a way to easily restore hp and stamina outside of battle without having to go back to a healing center if you have the ingredients, letting you save the healing items for hard battle encounters.
I'm really just a sucker for any chance to feel closer to my imaginary monster friends.
Honestly, I know it's a Monster taming game, but I wouldn't mind, of you had to also "take care of yourself". Cooking to reduce your own hunger, needing to use the restroom might be a bit over the top, but stuff like finding a place to sleep and other requirements could be interesting
Yeah, I like that Idea. You could have personal buffs and debuffs for the personal state.
Like having not slept enough sometimes changes the UI description, but not the actual functions
Or being hungry makes you have issues to concentratr and walk slower
But I do also agree on the toilet thing. Realism is good, but... let's not overmake it.
Imagine trying to incorporate a toilet feature into a game 😭
Digimon World 1 lol
