I have been playing a lot lately thinks to the gems and glory dlc that has really revitalized the game for me. The only complaint I have for the diamond creek map is that it does not have a spot for the big orange beast to be set up. While in a previous patch every other map has had that added to them. I just think it would be nice to be able to have a big orange beast on this big map with multiple dig spots

Do the other start plot have placing for orange beast stuff?

Yes they was added in a patch shortly after the dlc launched
