So over many years I have always thought about asking for this, but also completely forgot all about it.
So we are many people from around the world, and I know because of that we have both the "Imperial" and "Metric" system in place.
I myself are a citizen of EU (Metric), so I'm on grams / kg.. But my isus is we are also using a dot or comma " . , " to split up the numbers.
It makes it way faster and easier for us to read higher digits numbers.

Instead of having this amount in money "331116" it should be showed as this: "331.116" (witch is. three-hundred-thousand) and some ... 🙂
Same goes for gold and mag. It would just feel so much better for us in EU that use (Metric) to read all the numbers moving forward with this.
E.g when you go to bank for loan, it can be a bit crazy at end game. 10 mil+

Here I can better show case how it looks with dots..

100 (one hundred)
1.000 (one thousand)
10.000 (ten thousand)
100.000 (hundred thousand)
1.000.000 (one million)
10.000.000 (ten millions)
100.000.000 (hundred millions)

Hope you would consider this, e.g. Here you can see my end of season from LB.
It's kinda hard to read the earned money because it's a 8 digits number.

I think just leaving a space every 1000 like 1 million would look like this 1 000 000 works so no need for dots and its easy to read and have only the decimal points where needed

Seeing as how the original game was developed for an IP of gold mining in Alaska USA - and in game you're mining in Alaska USA, don't you think they should use the US standard of commas for numbers and the . for decimal place (instead of the EU backwardation of that)... like for instance in the photo you provided 58,038.47 m3.

Well, like I told the other guy, remember the game provide us with 2 system to pick from. We are not all the same in many ways.
And by supporting both system the can make most people happy. I'm only point out this out for the "Metric" system, so when that is on in settings.
It will follow does rules, and same goes for when "Imperial" is on. My guess is just when it was made back at the orignal team it was not a high concern.
Now with a new team, I could just hope it was something that could be fix once and for all. 🙂

To be fair, a lot of industries in the US do use metric, they just also use the US style of comma/period for numbers as well.
