Change the face flask affix to give the original mechanic, but more limited. Such as regaining 10% of your lost hp as recovery, and scaling to a cap of 20% instead of the original 50. This would allow it to fit its role as a crossover item more, considering the item its based off is a heal, and would have a more impactful legendary affix than just spreading burning oil.
