Skin proxy takes a long time to update | Betacraft | Page 1

Hi!
I have been using the Betacraft proxy in the official Minecraft launcher to patch skins/sounds for beta 1.7.3. I updated my skin a few days ago, but this change is not reflected in-game when running through the proxy.
The skin change works for players using the Betacraft launcher, but not for players using the proxy alone. Is there any reason for this or any way to fix this?

skins take up to 7 days to update om both the proxy and betacraft launcher v1. on v2 it's instant, because there are no limits imposed
