after trying for a while to change my skin on betacraft i decided to use the 2.0 alpha version and it displays my correct and up to date skin, which is weird considering that both launchers use the same skin proxy, is there any way that i can make my skin work on the normal betacraft launcher? or a way to replace the betacraft skin proxy to the alpha launcher one?

both launchers do not use the same skin proxy. v2 has a local skin proxy, meaning it runs on your computer, and thus rate limits can be ignored. however with the remote proxy that v1 uses, we had to include a cache system, so that the proxy won't go down every 10 minutes or so.
the current wait time for a skin to update on v1 is up to 7 days.
