can someone help me have betacraft on my steamos installation?

i downloaded the universal jar and tried installing java 8u361 but still no trace of being able to open it. i also marked it as executable in properties, but it opens peazip

i have the same problem with java on SD too

so i install prism launcher because it have integrated java

and u dont need to install java before

i did resort to prism too but i still would like to have betacraft running too

i tried install java from tutorials but its doesnt work on steamos(LinuxArh)
