Generated colony wealth not updating after my previous bookkeeper / broker died.
So the previous mayor who was also the bookkeeper and broker died, and since that I don't see the exact colony wealth, and the required wealth for rooms (like temples).
I've tried to assign multiple dwarves to those positions, they have office as well, but I still don't get the older wealth records.
Do you have any idea what's causing the issue? (I've waited 1 in game year, but still nothing changed, the wealth is not updating)

My colony wealth was way above 300k and now I only see this. :/

I've reloaded an older save and when I switched from the original adept appraisal skilled broker to a new one, with less skills (skilled V rusty) the generated wealth jumps from 88k to 14k again.

My bookeeper never died, something broke and now bookies won't perform their job, even though they have a nice office.

I am trying to increase the skill of my new broker to the highest level, I am curious how correct the values will be

Still the same, after maxing out the skill appraiser the values only changed by the traded amount, it still doesn't count the previously created wealth. so its like 30k but for some reason after some time it jumped back to 24k, it seems entierly bugged now, and I am not able to see how much is needed for a guildhall, since i don't see the current values

here to say I’m also having an issue with this, tried changing to new brokers, also getting the issue with guildhalls not updating their values

also noticed that the broker/bookkeeper have their associates skills as V Rusty like Nidalee

having a similar issue with wealth values not being updated. for me it happens with new fortresses where there is no bookkeeper yet. in classic it would show estimates of the correct values, in my fort the value stays at exactly 9, no matter what wealth I create.

Similar issue for me, only my bookkeeper never died.
Also, values of temple/guildhalls are not updating either.

so it looks like values sorta-kinda update when a trade caravan arrives, though still not to any accuracy past 2,000 value besides artifacts

im talking bins full of masterwork steel armor/weapons etc dont go past 2,000 value, just artifacts

I think i've solved it, its not a bug. You need to trade a lot to improve the appraiser skill, when maxed out you will see the exact values everywhere

my problem isn't about exactly values, nothing is worth more then 2k when i clearly have a lot more, i haven't gotten a trader/raided/migrants in years

The record keeping skill has nothing to do with trading with caravans. Your bookkeeper should forever be performing their record keeping job in the form of a task called 'Update stockpile records.' A bookkeeper's record keeping skill should never be rusty if they're doing their job at all.

that's cool, but my broker can't count past 2000. im not even getting anycravans/traders/raids

yes, its not connected to the bookkeper, you need to trade to improve your broker's skill, then you will see higher values, it's a weird system but it's not bugged apparently

(i saw 16k when i had a new broker, while i had around 300k wealth, I've made a couples of trades during the years and went up from 16k-56k-120k then it become 600k and very exact)

if you don't have traders, this is related to something else, but not 100% that its a bug.. do you have peace with any faction? can they reach you?

My fort is 9 years old and I stopped getting caravans years ago. Bookkeepers still won't do their job

I was getting traders for the first 4-5 years then it stopped. lol
