#Watch history not saved unless spoofing is disabled

For whatever reason my watch history isn't saving on Revanced but if I disable spoofing app signature watch history will save but playback problems occurs

On normal YT history seems to be working but not on Revanced with spoofing

I'm not using Adaway and I'm non-rooted as well

Tried reinstalling Revanced and MicroG but it didn't help either

I think that disabling that will mess up the video playback, like it can start buffering forever or something, but you have to go to settings, then to the ReVanced settings at the bottom, go to Misc, then scroll down until you see "Spoof app signature"

Yeah for me either spoof with no watch history or no spoof with infinite buffer

at least if you just watching random videos from time to time you should be fine with not having stuff go on the history for a bit, you can still watch, but as soon as it is something from you feed, not knowing if you watched it or not is very annoying

same here, just suddenly stopped working, so the issue isn't really the version of revenced it is just that youtube chanced something and now that is broke until someone fixes it... you can still open a browser such as firefox and use a asblocker for the time being until this gets sorted

The only issue with shorts is that I keep getting the same ones on my feed over and over again. Its like it doesn't register that I have viewed it already. And with my regular videos, it doesn't save my history, thus my progress in the video never gets saved. So when YT ReV crashes, I don't know where it stopped and I'm constantly redoing the same videos

For some weird reason, YT shorts do appear on your watch history, at least for me, but that's it

Did the job for me as well... history feed showing now.

BTW using ver 19.04.37 as that is what is recommended on the official github thread as well.

I rebuilt it with with the new APK and made sure the manager was up to date. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the revanced app... no luck. Am I missing something? Only thing to note is that spoofing app signature didn't seem to be on in the first place. Been having the issue for about two weeks are so.
