Yeah I just found: https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/releases/tag/20200606 through the previous link I gave ... Is there an improvement with the ccrisan/motioneyeos version?
Oh i see they are the same ๐
Okay so I was able to boot to it and it loaded all just find. But when I attempt to go headless and use the IP for it either with SSH or browser the connection fails. Attempted ping and that failed too ๐ฆ any ideas?
gonna have to re-attach it's limbs ๐ head, arms, and legs @primal scroll (hope it's okay to ping ya)
It's no longer headless and I can access the terminal (login: admin pass: blank)
But now what ๐ฆ
Just tested ping 192.168.1.1 and the average time is 212ms to my local router ... Why would it be so high?
Okay well I need sleep so I've posted to https://groups.google.com/g/motioneye we'll see if they know what might be causing it ๐
Oh and I am willing to go with another option for os ๐ I have 10 8GB micro sd cards to play with ๐คฃ
I'll check back tomorrow - please @mention me or reply to one of my posts so I can see I have a message.
Looks like you've managed to get yourself a fair bit down the road already. I don't have any suggestions on how to debug your local WiFi network setup. My only advice would be to follow the installation directions very directly, as any mistake makes it difficult to debug. But you should be able to log into your Pi remotely and configure MotionEye using its UI. Everything is configured from that UI.
