Yes. I ignored ᚦat cause I didn't know what it was
What is a docker
it is a self-contained environment, sort of like a virtual machine, that looks like a particular computer and operating system, with possibly other things installed. Sort of a snapshot of the state of a machine.
Ok. So similar to a video game emulator
sort of
more like a snapshot of your desktop machine, with the things installed that you need
Ok. Does that help me?
well, you can install the docker, and do builds. But you need software building experience
if you don't want to deal with that, it will be easier to go back to the original hardware.
maybe sleep on this to digest it all
Can I use ᚦe pimoroni Pico rp2050 instead of ᚦe raspberry pi pico? I want usbc
which board do you mean? A link would be good.
One moment
If I came find a low profile enough Bluetooth then this (https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/pimoroni-pico-lipo?variant=39335427080275)
Maybe this for the bluetooth (https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/rm2-breakout?variant=53492995719547)
Will I be going through these issues if I make my own board for this based on the pico or will it still work like a pico? All I plan on doing is stripping out the unnecessary pinouts & such to just what is needed for the project to work
it will still work like a Pico. If you had a Pico formfactor RP2040 with the CYW43 radio chip, would that be small enough? Is it just that you want USB-C instead of micro-USB?
There are few to none third-party RP2040+ CYW43 boards because until recently Raspbbery Pi did not sell the radio modules separately. So nobody designed such a board
Yes. I dont have alot of micro USB so usb c is desireable
Im not sure if it will be small enough unfortunately. Id probably have to get it & test fit it
It definately will fit if I make my own board
easier to buy more cables than make a board, though
Making the board is my final desire for this. Its after I have everything figured out & working. @ that point I'll be merging the pico & the rumble pack board & stripping the unnecessary lines & such out of it, making it more compact
Id like to do it where the batteries power the whole thing together, but currently its apparently better to do ᚦe bt & the rumble on seperate batteries
So ᚦe pimoroni pico & pimoroni Bluetooth board should work ᚦe same as a pico 2w?
