Will ESP32-S2 products continue to be manufactured or is there a plan to phase them out for ESP32-S3 based products?

I am working on a project for a class that will use multiple remote controls (no more than 4 and the remotes are standard TV remotes and DVD player remotes). I bought some of these: https://www.adafruit.com/product/5939 (Adafruit Infrared IR Remote Receiver - STEMMA JST PH 2mm). Do I need one for each remote I plan to use? This will be to used to control Max in realtime.
