@sonic shoal this seems pretty similar to my problem. Curious, how would you "tack on" your fat disk image to the CP .bin file?

do a search in discord for "from: neradoc esptool", esptool sems to be able to capture the whole flash... UF2 seems to be an extra hurdle if that's needed
