Working with code now. I can receive codes for volume up and volume down, however the adafruit_irremote.GenericTransmit sends but the code are not being read by the sound bar. I see the NEC standard is used, is that used still for smarttvs?\

there is no standard for "smart tv", they can use whatever they want

nec is a popular protocol, but not the only one
