I ordered the PyBoard AdaBox tonight. I can't wait to get my hands on this thing.
It’s amazing TimGT
I’ve done a few examples with python .. but I’m much more confident with Arduino 🤷🏻♂️
I'm excited to see what I can do with it. Been doing a lot more with CircuitPython as of late
Excellent!
And the Adafruit IO+ card !!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
It's so iridescent!
Well, it's way past my bedtime, so I'll bid you all adieu. 💤
John, watching the video now, thanks so much!
Adieu Andy!
Goodnight everybody.!! And great work to everyone at the Adafruit Team!
Ok, at Adafruit.com, under Products, where is the PyPortal at? I always use that menu as my jump-off...
Ah, IOT got it...
Out-Of-Stock, bummer, oh well...
I'm trying to figure out if there is an accel on the pyportal or not.
I have the box. want more pyportals. have lots of project ideas.
Alright ... cool cool well I’m about out of battery .. so I’m signing off .. GN!
Nite!
Joined the live broadcast late, almost at the very end. Just going back over video posted earlier in the chat. I like Ladyada's comment about the next box being even better. Adafruit packs a lot of goodness into each ~$60 box! There are so many awesome new products to choose from. And also thanks for letting us non-subscribers in on the AdaBox fun, Adafruit.
@heavy siren Video accel?
Ah, I think @heavy siren was wondering about accelerometer @odd stream No, there is not one built into the PyPortal.
@haughty quiver Right John, I want to use an accelerometer to measure g-forces.
This might be a good one to add over one of the JST ports https://www.adafruit.com/product/4097
I want to put a PyPortal on my dashboard, rev the engine to 4000 rpm, then pop the cutch when the light goes green.. 😃
Yup, was looking at that one today as a matter of fact.
Actually, I'm looking to use it in the 2-4g range. It takesa a top fuel dragster to achieve 5 g's of force on the driver.
But if I can pull 2+ g's, I'd think I'd be happy.
Just something different.
@heavy siren Ah.. -erometer, not -erator
@odd stream Well, the -erator will trigger the -erometer to measure and record, remember, the g-forces for a quarter of a mile with peddle to the metal power shifting ... 😃
I think the display with touch is perfect for a dashboard device.
@heavy siren With a screen, being mobile (i.e. in motion) isn't as relevant I guess. There's I2C so you can always add one.
Oh... true enough.
An I2C based expansion board is an idea...
Just generally
an accell, a seesaw and/or 23017
Make it with matching mounting holes.
There're lots of I2C Accel boards. It's the range that needs to be considered.
+-2g or maybe 4. dunno...
Mr. Park suggested this. ADXL343 - Triple-Axis Accelerometer (+-2g/4g/8g/16g) w/ I2C/SPI, which looks like a perfect fit...
It has interrupt lines and lots of software support.
I like interrupts.
As opposed to interuptions.
let's see, i will try @haughty quiver here... jp, are ya over on this side?
Hello!
right on! was 🍕

Next week!
Definitely next week!
Wahoowah!
Always next week.
I'm really looking forward to type-C supplanting micro-B as the standard connector for maker products.
You know how many micro-B cables I have lying around? Very few
Those are awesome for attaching eye gaze trackers to standard PCs like Surfaces
👋
next JohnPark week
These are a big deal. You need a name for the line - we will use lots of these
Do you have one that will mount to a case?
Q: Will panel mount ends become available, too?
to expose like a MicroB?
PT loves skulls.
What's the subscription cost of HackerBox?
HackerBoxes is the original monthly subscription box for Maker Hobbyist DIY Electronics and Computer Technology. ( Hacker Boxes Starter Workshops Arduino EE )
There are several options available.
Thanks
Np Bill 😃
Good Price
Q: I know it's not the point, but CAN you program the ESP32 directly w/Arduino on that board?
@pearl shoal looks like yes, https://github.com/adafruit/nina-fw
oh I thought you said w/o arduino
not sure about the flashing path
Either way's fine - just want to know how to update and/or replace Nina
CPX + screen? I've got my eye on this.
These solder-in nuts are very cool.
@pearl shoal you can use esptool.py to push firmware on there, at the very least...
Q: On the Gizmo, can you connect screws from either/both side?
The CPX has the Gizmo's back.
speaker & stemma connectors! That's sweet.
nice stuff!
Ciao!
Hi, all.
Bleeps and bloops are a go!
Head's up @haughty quiver - the title of the mini ASK matches your show 😕
K. Now I'm confused. 😉
You get a coupon code, YOU get a coupon code, EVERYONE GETS A COUPON CODE!
voice audio levels peaking at -4db. good to go!
Had to find you manually via user/Adafruit/live
Hello !
Seeing it on YT now
It's working on YouTube
Go direct to...yes
They had another instance of it that was dead.
I'm fine thanks !!
STEMMA = I2C on standard jacks, right?
If you put a color sensor over each button on the neotrellis you could program it to play flappybird on itself.
@pearl shoal yes. Stemma can be either 3.3v or 5v so beware.
Trellis = 3.3v, Pyportal defaults to 5v but can be changed.
Is there more standardization on it than that? Like do all of the STEMMA products use common I2C registers/libraries?
Or can it just be any i2c?
STEMMA is just an electrical std.
Gotcha - thanks
Hue will have a fun time changing colors on the CPX!
Well color me blue!
That might actually be easier to understand in Javascript view
Green with envy.
I think this thread is tinted - er tainted.
Hue grants the colors.
Now I'm seeing red.
This is a purr-fect project.
Everyone, take paws and watch what JP is doing.
It's really the cat's meow.
You're really telling a tail.
I wonder, can we use the PyPortal speaker to play Mew-sic with these cat images?
I'm still feline my way around this forum.
These cat images are making my heart melt, meta-fur-kitty.
pawsing
I guess it's not fur everyone.
The PyPortal is such a lavish IoT device -- something that F. Scott FitzFeral would embellish in the Great Catsby.
Well, I'm out. I guess I'l go sit on a Hot Tin Roof.
Just breaks out of the second while loop before the 30sec (or 5 min) is up.
Pretty Please, @haughty quiver - walk folks through how to undo that mistake... when the PC can't write to the CIRCUIPY drive, it's awful hard to fix if you don't know how
Enabling writing to flash means that the PC can't write to the CIRCUITPY drive. IF you don't give some mechanism to get back into that, you can be screwed.
Opening the REPL and wiping the filesystem is the only fix I know of
Yes, @paper peak sent me the instructions... just saying that they can't write from both is useful
Didn't mean to derail you
There is a mechanism in place to allow writing from both, it was necessary for some of the PyPortal image rendering, but it can cause issues so it has a long-and-danger-zone-sounding name. Enabling it can lead to filesystem corruption if you write from both at the same time. Using an SD card with your PyPortal eliminated the need for writing to both as the rendering can use the SD card while you write to the flash.
Cool - John said he was writing to the Flash, and it triggered my "brick" fear 😃
@haughty quiver Thanks for another awesome show!
@clear matrix adding instructions to just remove boot.py from the REPL would be solve the issue
I only know how to completely wipe the filesystem
thanks @clear matrix for the much better explanation.
@haughty quiver No problem 😄
Another great show, @haughty quiver !
👍 @haughty quiver
Thanks much all
Doggoneit, I missed some webcasts today. Didn't know about them. Does Adafruit make a "TV Guide" sort of document or webpage that shows when the shows will be broadcast. I realize there are the usual's, but these off-schedule shows are hard to catch. Just wondering....
This was a one off. Usually you'll have 3D printing stream on Wednesday morning , Show&Tell and Ask an Engineer Wednesday Evening, John Park's Workshop on Thursday. I think that's the whole regular schedule
some of the playlists have the times posted
I subscribed to Adafruit on YouTube and had notifications enabled so I was able to catch the Ask an Engineer Mini today.

Hi all
adafruit is live at https://www.twitch.tv/adafruit
@rocky reef has an echo - @hard hollow is good 😃
^^ I second Mr. Bill's assessment.
Morning
Perfect - but Noe's quiet now - neverending saga right?
I punted and just went to one mic when I have two ppl
Echo is back
Indeed it is....very noticeable
Fish are friends, not food. But echo, that's a friend of no one.
And today, in Sushi Stadium.....two fish enter, one octopus leaves...
Perhaps stack a second neo magnet on them when you're using the water
3D printed cover or acrylic?
Would it work with a ring of electromagnets instead of the motor?
It should but take more power
That's what I thought.
It's doable, though.
Speaking of Fritzing, does anyone know how to show a circuit schematic in Fritzing?
PixelStrip
Moustache?
YES! I really like this idea of having a press for heat-set inserts.....
I need this.
Wirecast probably isn't using timestamps on both mics
Iron Fish....Fe-ish?
I seriously just gave up on multiple mics though
Or get a mixer and feed that into wirecast
@hard hollow @rocky reef check out "drill guide" on google, they've been around for a bit for various drills -- to drill straight holes with a handheld power drill.

Thanks, guys!
thanks for hanging out folks!
Thanks!
@hard hollow @rocky reef Thanks for an awesome show!
@haughty quiver well @hard hollow and @rocky reef need a Adafruit Audio mixer project it would be great
yay thanks folks
Great show!
I seriously am excited to see what you put together for the heat-set inserts....the "best advice" I've gotten for doing them manually was "practice a lot, and prepare sacrificial pieces." To have something to do them reliably well....ooo boy.
good show
And so much can go wrong -- small piece of brass or steel + long fire stick + plastic that needs to be heated to just right, but you go too much and you're playing with soup.
omg exactly @waxen thistle
ah think we figured out the mic issue! Our yeti mic was on omni directional mode – the cardioid mode should fix the echoing
here's a handy chart for visual reference https://raelyntan.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Screen-Shot-2015-10-16-at-5.15.59-pm-1024x662.png

Hi, @clear matrix
Hello!
cool, thanks
Good evening
I'm exited about tonight's Show and Tell. I believe there will be showing and telling...

Could that be applied to circuitPython?
@odd stream ya, think so

That project is at the Apex of Legend reporting!......wait, wrong game.
When it comes to awesome projects....when it rains, it pours!
ooh! that would definitely cheer me up when it's rainy and dreary out
You can be singin' while you use it.
I love Engineer-branded tools. They're made SO well.
Their NS-03 snips are amazing. Adjustable stop for the max opening of the jaws, and they use an actual spring instead of two pieces of bent metal as a "spring".

@slow spire Right.

Makecode Many Minutes. 😃
The MakeCode… moment.
MakeCode minute ^2
Makecode Minute - Multiverse edition.
⏱ 🎮 @haughty quiver's MakeCode Minute was 2min 07sec of musical joystick awesomeness && 1min 52sec of colorful tilting! Did hue have fun with it? 🎮 ⏱
The MakeCode Minute music is so catchy, I always end up humming it for a while afterwards
LOL yes!
or beep beeping it i guess 😃
Aw, thank you Sophy!
I want the extended remix.
@haughty quiver 👏 👏 👏
Is it available on iTunes? 😉
Napster?
I put it up on Bandcamp: https://johnpark.bandcamp.com/track/street-chicken
Lol.
Hello!
Bah, beat me to it....I was just previewing Joy Quirkus. Last one was it 😛
@haughty quiver with a 'stache.
Of interest, I wrote it entirely on the KORG synth/sequencer cartridge for Nintendo DSi.
🤔 calculators
Cool 😀
Wow, @haughty quiver
The KORG synt is one of the coolest things they put on DS
That's a nice constraint.
I like it, too, it's so hard to deal with unlimited choices and plugins on a real, big software DAW.
@haughty quiver I'm now imagining a chiptune service for PyPortal. Sort of an 8-bit Spotify.
A while back i saw a really cool thing where someone rigfed their DS to control their DSLR.
The KORG DS-10 cartridge is a pretty great reproduction of the KORG MS-10 semimodular synth from the late 1970s
@slow spire ooh, I like the sound of that
How to host the (relatively tiny) files inexpensively for sharing?
GitHub?
Yeah, maybe, @muted mesa !
allows contributions too... 😄
it would be rad if the whole thing runs off of GitHub repos of the chiptune tracker data :0
whoa that ukulele is amazing
"But...that's the band name. Pull Request." 🎵
gosh, sounds plausible doesn't it @slow spire ?
Sure does. I think I'll try making one this weekend.
though, the proper licensing/copyright stuff could be a monster to administer.
i had an angelfire page! omg that was so awesome
I want to see that Etch-a-Sketch camera working.
@muted mesa Perhaps it's all CC.
yeah, until someone submits a copyrighted work and it sneaks in. /paranoid 😄
I wonder if my tripod page is still there...
@muted mesa Then all of GitHub goes down because of one track.
"YT has demonitized GitHub. Please contact our support team to appeal."
Hooray!!

Congrats, @clear matrix !

LOL there's a whole writer's room scripting every single thing we do and say, and we're all just actors, right?
@haughty quiver , you just messed up your lines
that talk is awesome
LINE!
@haughty quiver furious whispering
Lol.
weird how nobody noticed my character died off in season 3 and then I came back as a totally different guy in season 7
I'm getting a Truman Show vibe...
@haughty quiver might actually be three racoons in a trenchcoat
shhhhhhhh hisssssss
In that case it would be the Trashcan Minute.
👌
i once saw three raccoons sneaking into my neighbor's backyard and thought to myself, where's the trenchcoat?
same thing they were thinking I'll bet.

@heavy siren The tri-color ones are beautiful. Just know that they take about 15 seconds to update, and shouldn't be updated more than once every 3 minutes.
night all!
to push myself to get to get a better microscope i gave away my stereo microscope to someone who asked... Strange parts will not be my method...
(to preserve display lifetime)
@slow spire Yes, I know, I have ideas for "static" displays like little billboards that change every so often.
Grocery stores would love them.
you should look at the wear life cycle of the display... last time i check it was in the 2Million cycles before fading.
Electronic shelf labels are definitely a big market for those, as evidence look at https://shopkits.eink.com.
@slow spire Bingo, guess I'm too late. But hey, couple that with RFID or Beacons and Bluetooth and the shopper can have quite an experience.
@ionic crag That's 11+ years of screen updates every 3 minutes.
I don't think you're too late to do a better more creative implementation, @heavy siren
My local Kohl's uses electronic shelf labels for almost everything.
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
@slow spire Yesh, I know, and the applications for static displays is really endless when you think about it.
Nice links, thanks eh...
Sure thing. I certainly do want to play with the larger tri-color displays that have come in recently!
Good Night World! Time for Chicago to sign off. Otherwise I might buy a bunch of Adafruit products before the code runs out at midnight.
Have a couple of beers and shop just before midnight. What could go wrong? 😄
I'm married, you tell me what could go wrong....
Me, too, and both of us are a bit impulsive. So, there's that.
She knows I like to buy myself stuff for any holiday and with Easter fast approaching she is keeping a close eye on me. 😃
Someone needs a) an allowance b) MOAR holidays!
I bought her nRF52832 Express for christmass but she didn't know what it was so she gave it to me. 😃
What National Day is it today? Do you want to know what national holiday it is today, or why today is so special? Well you’re in luck, because at National Today, we've compiled all the best days of the year and listed them here on our site. We mostly focus on the not-so-wel...
National Cheese Ball Day. Well, now I have to go and get me some of those new nuts Ladyada was talking about.
Well, happy making! Look forward to seeing what you do with a tri-color eInk display!
I missed National Cheese Ball Day?!?
@eager sapphire We are here to talk you through it if you need us.
That's what we do!
I'll be right back. Don't nobody go nowheres.
Good afternoon all you wonderful people!
Hello!
@lavish patrol Reporting for duty.
Hi there.
Waiting for those fat beats...

Parkception.
@dense marlin It's streaming now!
Even as we speak.
Is it in the core? 😉
Twitch has put a lot of effort into low-latency broadcasting.
ok if it's National High Five Day, that's an excuse for @heavy siren
Watching on Apple TV and chatting on the phone sitting on the couch. Great.
@eager sapphire Bingo... 🙌

JOHN PARK'S WORKSHOP LIVE 4/18/19 League of Legends Display @adafruit @johnedgarpark #adafruit
We had two of these last night...
I bit the bullet and am now on Twitch.
"This keyboard followed me home..."
How to clean your keyboard... Put it through the dishwasher. 🤔
i'd call that a dumpster-diving success! Plus agreed clever use of the dishwasher
🎹 🎹 🎹 🎹
How far ahead is Twitch?
They seem to be pretty close in time...
1.21s
I use the FFZ chrome extension that gives an overlay with stats like latency, etc.
Please note that twitch usually has several more seconds of lag if you're on iOS -- the chat usually is far ahead of the actual broadcast, can ruin any surprises.
if I remember mine
@haughty quiver Thanks for another fun show!
What better way to celebrate National HIgh Five Day?
Thanks!
Thanks, @haughty quiver
Thanks John, another fine show
High Five!
Thanks again @haughty quiver
Thanks @haughty quiver! Another wonderful day in the workshophood.
LOL, I forgot my cardigan
Thanks John, nice show. I like cutting code and seeing how others do it as well.

Your theme music is a bit different from Fred's.
Now soldering a project idea from @inner spade or go to bed?
Soldering, that reminds me, I have a soldering marathon scheduled for this weekend. About 6 Feather boards to do with a trippler.
I have bad experiences soldering tired but maybe I start now.
Safety first. Get some rest...
You are probably right @heavy siren
I also like to solder this this weekend: https://www.thonk.co.uk/shop/fss-brunswick/
I'm a Techie Turned Trucker and in the Trucking industry, Safety always comes first. Seriously. Get some rest so you will do it right the first time.
And remember, soldering is a Knack, not everyone can do it correctly.
Knack?
Yes, in reference to somebody having the Knack to do something, a good ability.
Maybe I'm missspelling it.
Nope, I got it right, an acquired or natural skill at performing a task
I see. I will see if i knack soldering.
You mean, if you have the knack for soldering. It's a noun.
Yes.
Sorry, grew up with a fifth grade school teacher and proper english was always required.
I’m not native speaker in English and have sometimes problems with specific terms.
But I’m willing to learn more.
Your fine. As long as you get your point across.
it's more the "understanding" that is important to me.
Sometimes it difficult if the conversation is with some one is also not a native speaker.
ok mine was malistos
Well, also, I tend to use words that aren't normally used. I like to be different and MAKE my own statements. 😃
I tend to do this in german as well.
I was trying to find the German term for "core memory cores" the other day. The closest I managed was "Ferritkerne für Kernspeicher".
@dense marlin that Brunswick kit should be a lot of fun!
@prime sentinel I don’t know what a „Ferritkern“ is?
Ah, „Ferritkernspeicher (englisch magnetic-core memory oder englisch ferrite-core memory)“ (german Wikipedia)
So „Kernspeicher“ is a synonym for „Ferritkernspeicher“ which translates as „core memory“.
That is what your translation means. That thy are synonym (for=für).
So I would translate it as „Ferritkernspeicher Kerne“ or „Kernspeicher Kerne“. But as I never heard this term before, hard to say, if this is correct.
In German you would make one word out of it „Kernspeicherkerne“ but this word google doesn’t know.
Cool, thanks! After doing some basic experiments with an ordinary ferrite toroid core (not designed for use as a memory, so its characteristics aren't very good), I found someone selling cores of the correct type. They were made by KWH (Kombinat Veb Keramische Werke Hermsdorf) and I was hoping to find some information on them, but have had no luck searching in English.
I habe completed my build of the Brunswick: https://www.instagram.com/p/BwcgSTloh1F
8 Likes, 1 Comments - @effiksmusic on Instagram: “#brunswick is tested and running. No issues so far. Tomorrow I will get a 47k resistor for full…”
A good soldering iron is very helpful.
@prime sentinel mysterious, I never heard of the town Hermsdorf, the copmpany "Kombinat Veb Keramische Werke", this product or the concept of a ferrite toroid core. …
They were made about 60 years ago, it's hardly current technology.
Ah, I see.
Amusingly, for an unrelated project I was sending probably sloppy machine-translated German to the folks at http://www.lectron.de/ in hopes of buying some of their excellent electronics teaching wares, but I suspect they won't ship to the United States.
This lectron company is not so far from were I work.
Cool! They made the kits that I learned electronics with. Amusingly, I just tripped over a bizarre linkage: a Lectron Kernspeicher-matrix baustein: http://www.g-stabe.de/lec/ksm44-mg.PNG
Apparently there is also a one-bit version http://www.g-stabe.de/lec/fks1b-mg.PNG and some support circuitry like this Leseverstärker f. Kernspeicher http://www.g-stabe.de/lec/lvfk9-mg.PNG
Again, these are german works, but I don’t know what thy mean.
They appear to be building-block versions of core memory modules, and an associated amplifier to detect the small signals created when they're accessed.

hi yall!
congrats @lethal lagoon on the book release!
@open girder ahhh thank you so much! 😃
Need to get on Amazon and order it.
@lethal lagoon will be adding this to the newsletter, etc. and we'll be stocking in soon

{grunp} @lethal lagoon your name is not on the Raspberry Pi Press page for the book.
@leaden trail ahh, it seems like that is their layout for the pages for their books, and the book includes contributions from other writers and makers too so that's fine with me 😃 they did put my name on the cover and in the colophon as "writer" so that's pretty cool 😃

An $80k order? I hope Adafruit threw in a free CPX for orders of $299 or more....
😛
One free half size breadboard.
That belongs in a museum!
But the real question, is the reverse side detailed? That's kinda important 😛
neat. i've never seen that much detail on that part.
Whoa so shiny! That the good Molotow paint?
@waxen thistle somewhat... i would say somewhat detailed 😃
@haughty quiver it's just rustoleum rattle can gold, over a coat of gloss black
AND the bird is coated with Bare Conductive paint, which is thick and coats the 3d printing lines well
looks great @lethal lagoon !
thanks!
One of my vices is Montana Gold brand spray paint for metallics.
i have not dipped into Montana yet, i'm sure I will be hooked once i take the plunge 😄
undoubtedly :)
@lethal lagoon The original creator of the headpiece to the staff of Ra was Barry Minot -- he's on Twitter. I think he might like to see your work 😃
What is up with Germans making such awesome spray paint and graffiti supplies...
both Montana Gold and Molotow are German I think.
@haughty quiver right? id love to go on a shopping trip to Europe just for craft supplies
Yes please! And then next stop Tokyo.
There's a UK version of a Bosch cordless, USB-rechargable mini glue gun that I want SO BADLY. Totally not sold in the US either.
omg yes i always come back from Japan with too many craft supplies
you got nofrendo working?
ZIL is Lisp based/inspired BTW.

@haughty quiver i saw your post about your new GB games! thanks for that, i ordered dr. mario for my GB pocket!
My sister and I played the heck out of Zork][ and lots of other Infocom games on our Apple //e.
Ooh, @lethal lagoon that's terrific, I love that game on SNES!
Or is it on NES, I think.
love it! and that purchase sucked me into a crazy childhood rabbit hole which culminated in me buying a batch of 11 issues of Starlog from 1989 on eBay
and then i cut myself off before i got into any more trouble
Heh heh heh, my favorite kind of obsessive deep dive...
@lethal lagoon I'm now searching thrift shops for more Game Boys (DMG, Pocket) so I can do a polyphonic MIDI chiptune synth eventually like @rapid hornet !
Scott's awesome musical habits are rubbing off onto you John!
oh so cool! have you seen Look Mum No Computer on YouTube? He is doing a crazy gameboy poly synth project too!
Yes, total madman!
completely mad! we love him! 😄
dude has the skills to back up the insanity of his ideas, too!
I spy a solder bridge
yes, so skilled, and scrappy! always super inspired by his projects, love that he does all kinds of things related to his interests, making instruments, videos, taking things apart

Are the fiber optic cables in pre-cut 1 meter lengths?
Just wondering if you could install a shutter system above your YT "studio" that closes automatically when you "go to the overhead" and opens to let the light back in when not? Random moment. 😃
Why are the Metro M4 boards labeled "beta"? Is there a planned update to them?
But, it's a "'cause we can" kinda thing. Lol
use dmx
Is getting an M4 feather with the ATSAMD51J20 possibly on the roadmap? Considering that chip is twice the storage/ram as what the m4 express is?
?? When using analog sensors do you take several reads then do an average? I see variability from read to read. any thoughts?

I have a PS3 that's given up the ghost after only a few hours of play. I can't tell you how many Xbox360s I've seen with a red ring. And forget about the graveyard of iphones, ipads, and other consumer tech.
Yep. Today's throwaway society.
Red ring of death.
But a gameboy? Aside from a slightly scratched screen....still works just as great as the time I last picked it up 15 years ago.
Broadcast is live, chat is pre-recorded 😛
On the digital console in your 2019 Delorean.
Whenever we do this low-res stuff I flash back to reading Graphics Gems back in the early 90s
I still have the full set
Source code, errata, and addenda to the Graphics Gems book series
Neat.
Imagine Nintendo having a development tool like this back in the 80s
There were a few of them around back in the day.
I was literally just asking if you can use shift to draw a straight line.
