The problem is, I believe I was going for much slower reps in May, so it's not a great comparison. And I don't know if May's clip was before or after working out.
It was burning me out right at the start of my work-out, and doing another 40 minutes after that felt awful.
I thought it was better to not do them, if it would make me less consistent with working out.
I was doing them with around 5kg added
3x5
3x5 was failure
Ok, I'll add around 1.5kg and keep 1-2 reps from failure. I'm a little bit worried I'll try for like a month, and it will still not make a difference, though. Have you seen any cases like this where people have just gotten stuck?
Ok, thanks for help! So that includes weighted pull ups?
Thanks! This doesn't really fit with the reddit recommended routine. Do you think I should just adjust the RR and do 4x5 pull ups etc., or move onto a split routine?
Sorry to bother you again, but I don't think you saw my last comment. Do you think I should move on from the reddit recommended routine since I've started plateauing? Doing 4 sets of certain exercises doesn't fit perfectly with the RR, so do you think a split routine would work better?
