I don't think it's functionally possible unless it's tied to a radius around the tank

from what I understand, spawns are drawn from points
this was why old ar15 bunker spawn was the whole map
the furthest two points drew the box to cover the map
not even sure where I'm going with this, main idea is that for players to change weapon there would have to be a radius near the tank that maybe they can't change
and everywhere else they can
I believe that's how it would have to be done to go with this idea

I think that if a team has managed to push the tank well enough that they are now far from their own spawn, that they don't really need to change weapons
they're already in a good position

What if someone had a bad layout equipped like grenade launcher and rpg, would they be stuck would that for the rest of the match then?

if for some reason players needed to swap their loadout because of tactic changes, maybe vehicle presence has changed, then I'd say the journey back to spawn is price enough

I went through my match the entire time without realizing I needed to swtich my weapons cuz i was just running around most of the time with chicken

if they chose RPG and GL at the start
and they are now still using that when the tank has been pushed more than half the map
close to enemy spawn
far from ally spawn
then really it's on them for spending the whole match carrying that loadout
though their team has still managed to make that whole trip
so I don't think their bad loadout is necessarily changing too much

nothing is useless to suggest
idk the stat, but a very high percentage of ideas people have are very raw and flawed
it takes quite a bit of thought into it to refine it
and is typically best refined through discussion with others
reflection upon different angles to an idea leads to the development of it to a higher standard
we have to start the suggestion to begin refining it 🙂

I typically like to put more than 30 minutes into writing a suggestion, but I just got done with a match and was too tired to really think that much so i just wrote it simple and hope i can explain it more lol
