I've been playing this for almost 3 years now, and finally seeing gun game enter the game mode pool is a long time dream come true for me. I must say, in the most constructive way possible, the implementation for it wasn't done the best way. I have a few specific points to be addressed:

Gun pool
I think this was what was done best. A lot of players complain about having to use the grenade launcher, but that sort of challenge is one that should be welcome to keep things fresh and fun. Like only doing the main guns would be too easy and having to do something like the RPG (or, gasp, the homing missile) would be near impossible. Though it seems that a lot of players are requesting that it is removed, I think the grenade launcher should stay in the gun pool. -
Map pool
I recall the changelog saying that Gun Game is replacing Package Drop (which is a mode that definitely got rightful flak but I personally miss.) It sure seems like that is exactly what happened, because all of the Package Drop maps are used for Gun Game. Gun Game is traditionally a fast paced game mode, where players rush to advance through the gun list to get to the last one and win. How in the world are we going to have that fast paced gameplay we desire on maps like Southwest!? I've never gotten Gun Game on some of the other big maps, so it may have been changed, but I think it should be changed again to include smaller maps. Gun Game on maps like Kitchen and Skull Island sounds like a blast. -
Demotion system
What would Gun Game be without the ability to demote players? Typically, to demote players, you have to melee them. This requires a lot more skill and precision than just shooting them. Combine being demoted after every death with having to run around on a massive map, almost rarely engaging other players, and you've got yourself a hot mess. I think players should receive a knife instead of just their fists, and only melee kills should demote players.
