So getsockopt is a firewall issue in regards to how the client and server are communicating. Do you have the servers latest.log or a copy via MCPaste (download icon on the console)?

It doesn't show any traces of me trying to join from what I can tell, just throws up that error when I try to join.

What MC and Java Version are you running?

1.20.1 should be java 17

What im seeing is that if the firewalls are correctly configured, it could be a mod (Forge/Fabric) or plugin (Paper/Spigot) that is causing the getsockopt error. My guess would be to remove any mods/plugins and then start Alphabetically til you hit the mod thats causing the error.

I've gotten something to work, right now it says this

it says I can connect to the server its just this is the wall I am running into now

this was after deleting the mod folder from the server itself by the way, I am not sure why it wants mods to be removed now when i have none on my client either but I will try adding the mods back into the server file

adding any of the mods back seems to cause the issue again
