ping is not server side lag

#

ping means bad internet connection

#

it can also mean your mods are sending tons of data, which can slow it down

Ping and server tps is different

#

if you are getting 1000+ ping, try to switch a host location to a place near you.

#

If the server tps is dropping severely, which means the server is lagging, then you should probably try remove some mods or upgrade your plan.
