well

wheat sky
#

For like the whole map

#

for the whole world

keen stag
#

. zip is an archive format

#

it has a folder in it

tranquil sparrow
wheat sky
#

ok

keen stag
#

you can download it and extract it to "get the folder out" basically

wheat sky
#

This is what is showed

keen stag
#

ok that's strange

tranquil sparrow
# keen stag . zip is an archive format

no acutally, zip isn't a folder. it is a compressed data type that saves a file system in a central directory with pointers and then the unzipping program recreates the folder

#

ok that's more than they needed to know though

tranquil sparrow
#

it might be too much

wheat sky
tranquil sparrow
#

*too big

#

if you are using a dedicated you would know

#

i think the files are in /var/lib/pterodactyl/volumes

wheat sky
#

Im brand new to this dedicated stuff

tranquil sparrow
#

welp

#

learn ssh and basic linux first

wheat sky
#

k

keen stag
#

which is true

#

i said earlier that it "contains" a folder which is also technically not wrong

wheat sky
#

Ok, i just archived the zip then unarchioved the new zip it made

#

And a error didnt show

#

when i did that

keen stag
#

ok this may be stupid but like

#

have you tried unarchiving the original zip again

#

im not convinced the error you just got wasn't a one-off

wheat sky
#

Yes

keen stag
#

ah

#

okay nevermind then

#

i really should have asked this way sooner but

#

this file was created on the server wasn't it?

#

why are you also extracting it on the server?

wheat sky
#

?

#

i uploaded teh zip through filezilla

#

the*

keen stag
#

OH

#

okay

#

yeah i see then

wheat sky
#

?

keen stag
#

instead of uploading a .zip file and extracting it i would try uploading a .tar.gz archive and see if that works

#

there are various ways to make one of those

#

you can choose whichever you'd like but i'm pretty sure 7zip can do it

wheat sky
#

ummmm i am confused lol

keen stag
#

my guess is that pebblehost's software choked on the .zip format and probably expected a .tar of some kind

#

so a .tar.gz or similar file might work

wheat sky
#

ok

#

Thanks for your time!

keen stag
#

ofc

tranquil sparrow

Sry had to go for a bit
