yeah
ok so steamcmd doesnt auto-update but if youre only doing this for 3 days i doubt there will be an update
so maybe can skip the update script
if you go to C:\SteamCMD\steamapps\common\U3DS look for an ExampleServer.bat
copy/paste that and rename it to something else LimestoneServer.bat or something
wherever you put the steamcmd.exe file
its kinda just sitting in a extracted folder in my downloads
do i have to put it somewhere specifically or
make a SteamCMD folder in your root C drive and copy the exe there
also copy any new folders it made, especially steamapps
in here right?

also when its done you should delete the old files if you didnt cut, since thats an entire unturned installation in your downloads
ok run steamcmd.exe again then just run quit when it boots to make sure you got all the files

it should end in +LanServer/Example, change it to +InternetServer/Limestone (you can change Limestone to whatever you want the server name to be in U3DS/Servers/
on the second to last line
anything with rem is ignored

with a normal mod I'd figure it'd be possible that the IP is just blocked, but I somehow don't think limestone has blocked any IPs

and the workshop download should be through steam directly just like everything else so it shouldn't fail because of that

also you can create a shortcut to this file on your desktop if you want easy access to it

it should be C:\SteamCMD\steamapps\common\U3DS\Servers\Jimmy\Server

this is the workshop config thing in the example folder

it shouldnt be .bat.bat just .bat, itll probably hide the extension in the file explorer

also you may want to do this so you can see the extension properly
i did to Limestoneserver.bat
LanServer needs to be InternetServer
start "" "%~dp0ServerHelper.bat" +InternetServer/MyLimestoneServer
then the folder name would need to be MyLimestoneServer
it can be whatever you want though

You lowkey got him doing this the difficult way using steamcmd but whatever
Failed to find map error is caused by missing line in commands.dat

ok the batch file you loaded is the Example folder
and the workshop ID is not configured
so make sure Example/WorkshopConfigWhatever.json has the mod ID

the reason we're using steamcmd is because he was hitting the path length limit doing it through steam
