Not sure if and where the place is for reporting hackers:
- and I'm talking a grossly-obvious hack, although sadly I have no recording since with my toaster PC I opt to not have such things enabled.
Situation in question:
- Involves driving a car through a base wall, and over thin air, also a person walking through the (walls or doors?) of a claimed base.
- I suspect but cannot definitively tell if wall vision, map vision, or aim bot were in use.
Server in question isn't anything special:
- No branding or links, has VAC and BattleEye, no workshop, no plug-ins, cheats disabled, comes under "plugins on" filter but no actual plugins listed, except the cheats and plugins I'm sure the rest were the case when I favourited the server, and was the case like half an hour after the incident, so didn't monitor for half an hour after the incident...
I sent a report to Steam:
- Including server IP, and I noted to them that from all my knowledge about admins, this seemed beyond admin abuse, like an actual hack. Honestly though, not sure how effective they can be for such a situation...
