Is there a mod for setting up specific gun configs in my own server?

I know you can more or less use .dat and change the base game files for singleplayer, but I want to take this to a server. Stuff like giving the Schofield a little more zombie damage, or different multipliers for lower caliber weapons.

Any non modded approach is also welcome, I've heard 50/50 things on just distributing .dat files, but that seems like a lot more of a pain than a workshop mod
