Hey there, so I've been working on my slots for the building I am currently making and I'm experiencing the issue that I can't place the windows inside the window frame properly. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

What happens if you try to place the window from the other side?

I have a really weird thing here, the window doesn't snap at all and I can vary the position of it (I can move it in there but it's gonna be really annoying since some windows are really buggy and dont work at all)
*partially move it into the frame, some stuff is still buggy
maybe its due to the low float values the collider has
try setting the Center to be exactly 0 0 0
do you mean perfectly in the middle of the frame?
This issue also appears on smaller windows, which also have a good frame.
remove the rigidbody
why did you add that?

Change the Center to be 0 0 0
This is my first time actually modding with unity, and a tutorial added that so I just did as well
And make the size whole numbers
input the values into the fields
Just look at the example asset
Or just start from that tbh
all you gotta do is change the model anyways
Alright, I changed the center to 0 0 0 and removed rigidbody, but that still did not fix the issue
Does the 'Slots' prefab have the same transformations as the 'Object' prefab?
Are you using a custom window or one from in-game?
I might have found the issue, but I am using a custom one since I was following a tutorial. The tutorial told me to create an empty object, designate it as logic for both and copy the components from the doors that were provided by another building

Try copying the Slot from the example asset
Where is the example asset?
I tried copying a window from a vanilla building and it is set up just like my slot.
With the exception being that it has the rigidbody modifier

ill show you the area with the issue, the hitbox of the window is weirdly placed
Maybe its getting confused by the way its rotated
try making X and Z 0
and then just rotate it using Y

I imported the example window (this one), and didnt move it. Bundled it and tested ingame, didn't work. Removed it, reimported it and rebundled it. Didn't work, now im here
