there is no real answer to that, roads need big resolution in order to have "clean" textures (no blending between pixels)
i don't know about materials but 256*256 seems fine

found a guide, says 64x64 for smaller roads and 128x64 for bigger ones
also so i dont make a new post and its related to this how could i make roads like this in elver
or is it just this put next to it
Make a texture, look at the examples
the sidewalks are separate roads
you dont need more than one pixel of color for them
unless you want a texture ofcourse
