I wrote the whole message and accidentally discarded it. Sorry for my english if it is bad. Most of it is translated

Yesterday I was checking the external hdd(where I install my games) and I saw that the folder was very full, even without many heavy games.
I started to clean it up. So I got in unturned. It was uninstalled from my pc but was getting 60gb of my disk. I tried to delete it but nothing happened. I discovered some files that had strange names, like ■°□•□○□ things, but weirder. So I tried to delete it, but it got an error for the length of the name. I got a software that solves it, but nothing happened.
Later that night, I checked it again, and had more. There was 139 or 149gb. There is something in it, because the hdd is +-220gb, but I have 180gb of other things and, now +- 140gb of this. DOESN'T MATCH.
I tried a lot of things
I just have a print of 60gb time
If someone can help me, I appreciate it.

How old is your harddrive? It may be at the end of its life time. Id really recommend backing up all of your important files

I don't know how old it is, but its drivers are from 2006, but he was bought after this

#

I'm backing up the files, but if there is other way

If its from 2006 youre playing a dangerous game man, Id really recommend replacing it before you lose it completely @reef path

#

You could of course still use it

#

Just move all of your important files to the new hdd

#

Hard drives are really cheap for like 1 TB these days so I dont see why not

Thank you for the recommendations. I'll try to buy a new one, and I'm uploading everything to Google Drive. I'll talk with my dad, because stay with this hdd for the important things is really not a good thing to do

#

Thank you so much

But he only mentioned that the drivers were from 2006.

#

He never said the HDD itself was from 2006.

The oldest file I found in it one from 2009. It is probably from 2008-2009, that is very old to a hdd

Ye

#

Switch to a new drive for sure.

#

Recommend getting an SSD as the next one.
