In you Subnautica\BepInEx folder should be a LogOutput. Drag it here to chat
here
The latest subnautica update had broke all the mods. i need to use the march_2023 branch
Yes, it did break the mods, but the authors of the mods you have installed already updated the mods to work on the latest version of the game.
So, update the game. Install the latest versions of Tobey's BepInEx, Nautilus, Subnautica Randomiser and Deathrun Remade and you will be good to go.
If you are going to use randomised recipes instead of Deathrun's, as an extremely experienced user of these two mods, I suggest you disable radiation and use the vanilla spawn option.
Hi, I did everything you said and it didn't work.
Send your LogOutput
It is looking for a file in a strange place, I didn't expect it would. @steep swift I don't know what to make of this.
Did you copy files into the Subnautica_Data folder?
@meager frigate
no
Oh, then the mod writes to a place I didn't know it does. We'll wait on the author to come and have a look.
By design probably. I see now you don't have the latest Nautilus installed.
I understand but I downloaded it on the nexus
It is possible that they didn't change the version number internally. Could you make sure you downloaded pre43
then ok, thanks
I'm sure I downloaded the right version, it didn't work, I think it's Deathrun
Now, I'm curious whether there is maybe a bug in pre43. I'm not on my computer now, but was playing Deathrun with pre42 last night. So, haven't tried pre43, myself
Try with this Nautilus #🎆┃modding-news message
Okay, when you have your computer, please test it and tell me if it works.
Will do. Should be in about 2 to 3hrs from now
ok, thanks for trying to help me
I actually don't. I've never seen this. Somehow the code thinks it is executing from inside subnautica itself, rather than Deathrun's .dll file. Which makes zero sense to me
I think my luck is non-existent
For a moment I thought they maybe copied the dll to Subnautica_Data\Plugins
But they say they didn't copy any files there
even if they did, bepinex wouldn't be loading the dll from there
Before this update I played Deathrun normally, but then it didn't work anymore.
Subnautica might be loading it from there
nautilus is working but dearhrun just doesn't work
Can you send a screenshot of your Subnautica/Subnautica_Data/Managed folder?
ok
Windows key + shift + s and then paste here
yeah deathrun is in there
apologies for the delay
that's your problem
all good. I'm just glad it's not some crazy bug
thank you very much @robust oak @wary pawn @steep swift
