Map mod revealed area gets covered again after loading save. SOLVED

Any area that I revealed on the map in a previous session is always back to how it was before said session, after reloading the save. Custom notes also disappear.

One bug report on the mod's page on nexus talkes about the map staying properly revealed when using auto save vs manually saving. This does not work for me.

the save is simple, never reload saves

well, only do that after you quit the game, no saving and reloading in the same game session

no

basically, you cant just save and reload without closing the game first

because mods dont know what reloading is, when you save and exit your world, your mods also sort of exit

and they arent really made to know reloading

Ah, so if I wanna stop playing I save like normal, but make sure to exit fully out of the game before continuing?

An update, since this issue has to with with saving, I wanted to see if disabling the Auto Save Mod would work and it indeed did. And no, manually saving with the Auto Save Mod enabled also doesn't help.
