Thx, for the super fast help.
The issue with this is that you need a separate mod for scrolling
Not an issue, just install the separate mod
advanced inventory correct?
Yes
But it needs QMods
No
https://www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/490 latest version uses bepinex
Ah yeah that doesn't, but the customized storage does
Not Ramune’s
thats the old qmod one
I'll try Ramunes with the advanced inventory, thx for help again
use ramunes one in test builds
Works perfectly for me.
Now a PickupabeleVehicles update and the FCS mods, then I'm perfectly happy 😉
Send your log
Can you scroll other storages?
Nope
What is in your BepInEx\plugins\AdvancedInvetory folder?
Anything interesting in the settings.json?
@frozen venture Have you tested your Customized Storage with Advanced Inventory?
I mean, I haven’t heard any reports of it not working before this one
So might be another mod interfering
just this
In my "settings.json" the "maxRows" parameter is 8.
Yeah I've changed it to 20 to have a bigger inventory and storage. But I still can't scroll
Advanced inventory doesn’t change inventory size or storage size, CustomizedStorage does that. Advanced Inventory just adds the scrolling functionality
But I can't scroll even with Advanced Inventory installed
Maybe because you changed that value
I'll try to record with Geforce, gimme a minute
First change the value back to what it was
You just need to read
is there something like this for BZ as well?
Advanced Storage for BZ
Below Zero supports QModManager and BepInEx mods
really? but still i can only have qmodmanager OR bepinex installed, correct? i thought I can only have bepinex and compatible mods installed. i have the latest steam version of the game.
Just make sure the BepInEx Pack overwrites the QModManager files and not the other way round and its fine
so i can have both? cool, thanks!
The issue is in SMLHelper, because many QMods use it, and you should not use it SMLHelper anymore
Dangit I responded to the wrong place
somebody really should do a writeup of what to use when, all the infos you can get on the internet are so confusing. i consider myself an IT expert with 20 years of experience at i'm confused AF. I would do the summary, if I'd know all the facts 🫠
so bepinex, qmodmanager, nautilus is the way to go and overwrite qmodmanager files with bepinex, correct?
Current version of either game? Use Bepinex+Nautilus, and not SMLHelper. *
Legacy Subnautica? QMM+SMLHelper. Bepinex is optional except on Mac/Linux or you are using Vortex where it's required.
*You can still use QMM with BZ, but it's not really recommended and many outdated QMM mods won't work with the latest version
yes, current version. i have now Bepinex + Nautilus active and all I'd like to have in addition to what's working already, is a storage mod to expand storage. according to RamuneToo, the QMM mod "Advanced Storage for BZ" should work, if i overwrite qmm with bepinex.
so any mod needing qmm MAY work, if it doesn't need SMLHelper?
Yup, I'd read the comments of those mods and make sure there aren't a lot of people unable to get it working.
kk thx
oh and the qmm mods go to the qmm mod folder, not to bepinex plugins folder, i guess?
Yup, Qmods always go in Qmods folder
