Download Vortex. https://www.nexusmods.com/about/vortex/
Add Subnautica to it.
Add Mods to Vortex, then deploy.

When downloading mods for 2.0 it is best to stick with Nautilus and not use mods that use SMLHelper, as there are some incompatibilities.
Here is a guide on how to determine if a mod you look at is for 2.0 or legacy. Epic only supports 2.0, so you can only download mods for 2.0

To determine if a mod needs SMLHelper or Nautilus, check the requirements. I recommend sticking with Nautilus mods for 2.0, way less pain
