As you can see, featured here is a build. Quite the build I must say...
Getting carried away with claws, play around with 2h/heavy items trying out the heavy nodes and the synergies.
Then speccing into Salamander shenanigans.
Goal: Use salamander. Wreck face, win.
How:
Salamander in melee mode uses ammo. Ammo triggers echoes. Echoes hit things, triggers the heavy item switcharoo stacking a heavy item splat onto the enemies. The more often this happens, the more often you proc crossbow/thrown/bow humonculous weapon conditions that proc as echoes, taking advantage of the bottom skilltree. (IF it works as I imagine, which it should imo)
Just yeeting salamanders ya'll.
Anyway, taking the regen ammo nodes to 50% with 25% chance to echo doesn't seem the best, but it turns into just 8 attacks = 1 proc, on average. kinda trash, but we have to build the tree along the way.
The juicy nodes: always max hit with any* ranged condition node specialization on the haevy echo.
That shoud be highly reasonable for single target. You just hit 4 times, hope to god something procs by then, and then bap, you got yourself a max hitsplat stack, and it can't miss with the bow node.
Then if you want splash, you take the thrown node, and have an additional target, ooof... cluster yeet those like bouncing chinchompa betties, procs for dayyyyys
Then you get your heal and other str bonus stuff, and wham bamp, pray bonus + increased trigger blindbag, and you're golden. The overheal synergy deals more damage to keep you along until you proc bigtime. I don't think you'll need the multiple heal nodes, just 1, because you'll deplete it all the time. once at 5 hp, Should be great for claws though since it's <1kg, double hits and stacks with 6minimum damage early game per hit (if you hit).
Hope to god salamander works LOL.
I'll start out by taking upper right in the start tree.
