while there are many players that enjoy the pet hunt, there are some (like me and my friends) that see them more of wasted rng, my suggestion is to give them some sort of passive effect for their respective skill/area such at hunllef pet giving extra 2.5% acc and dmg to all crystal equipment, beaver bet increases chance of gaining a resource , doesn't always have to be dmg and accuracy could be like 1/250 chance to reroll loot from respective boss.

That sounds more like a poor understanding of rng and probabilty (it's not "wasting" anything) than anything else. I recommend you look at some of the other posts that have been made on this subject to see reasoning for why these posts are so downvoted.

Ultimately, they are entirely cosmetic and have no impact on getting other things and can almost always be rolled alongside all other drops (with the minor exception of the Abyssal orphan from unsired and maybe 1-2 other things)

putting buffs on pets would just make everyone feel obliged to farm for them, and jagex doesn't ever plan on doing that

rs3 even has threshold pity for pets but they still don't want to put buffs on pets (especially since summoning already exists there)
