Hello.
Two days ago, 2 of my 14 accounts were banned for two days for “Bot Busting / Macroing.” I submitted an appeal explaining that I do not use any bots or macros. I also mentioned that if the ban was indeed correct, it must have been triggered by some software on my PC that I am unaware of. I asked them to let me know what the issue was if that was the case.
All I received was a generic appeal denial with no information about what caused the ban.
I then contacted live chat to explain my situation. I mentioned that the appeal did not clarify what triggered the ban, and I was told to submit a second appeal and request additional information in it. I had already done that in my first appeal but received no useful response. I also shared that a friend suggested it might have been triggered because I had rebound my Escape key to my Windows key using ICUE. I am basically stuck. Nobody is giving me a clear answer, and I do not know why I got banned. I am currently waiting for a response to my second appeal, but I expect the outcome will be the same, another generic message with no information.
I would like suggestions on what to do next because I do not want my account, which I have had for roughly nineteen years, to be permanently banned.
What I have done so far: I unbound the Escape-to-Windows key rebind in ICUE. I also disabled DisplayFusion from running at PC launch and have stopped using it.
