Hi i don't know if this is the right section for this question. I have played rs3 for awhile and wanted to start ORSRS. I created a character with the same name as my RS3 account. I didn't know I already had an old OSRS connected to my overall account that is way further. I don't want to fully start over if i can avoid it but i want that name. How do I change just that new characters name to something different so I can use that name on my "main". When I look at it, it appears it will also change my RS3 name which I don't want. How do I change just the OSRS name. Thank you guys.

So what occurred is that you used the Launcher to "login' onto OSRS using your RS3 character - since it's the same account - it'll use the same RSN in particular.
So what you want is wanting your older OSRS account to have the same name as your main account? I'm afraid that's not possible since it's linked to the same account, and changing your newer account that you used from RS3 will be affected.
Any name changes will be used through bonds, or every 28 days if you're a member.
RS3 account -> login into OSRS will share the same username. If you had a previous OSRS account, and you want to change the Older OSRS account to have the same name as the RS3 account, your RS3 account's username will be changed since it's linked. You may only change your RS3 account's username to something entirely different if you wish to keep that RSN on your Older OSRS account.
