You'll have to elaborate on the quest because it sounds like a glorified bounty task if you intend the krakens to be those currently available.
And what do you mean by "the best XP an GP per hour"? Literally the best across the skill or the best across the salvaging options? The former I'm heavily against as i don't think an afk method such as salvaging should ever give the highest XP/hr. That should be reserved for trials as it is now.

The quest is open to other ideas, maybe create a Dragon Kraken variant to tie in to the salvage. Be like a Kraken boss fight so it would be better than bounties. Make people want to stock up cannon balls for a challenging fight with high rewards.
And i mean Best across salvaging options, and the only triple spot available.

Im not convinced we need any new salvages or triple spots. What we need is another trial (lvl 90+) and possible ship combat work. xp rates are already very ideal for salvages and if anything there could be minor adjustments to the respective loots.

85 to 95 is way too high for a quest requirement

Fair enough, im no OSRS expert, just an idea that came to mind whilst salvaging merchants. Maybe chuck the quest lvl 70-75, Dragon Kraken Boss fight that allows access to a new area for Dragon Salvage. Just thought some of the loot could be a bit better and gives a late game quest which sailing is missing at present.

1.) I don’t think it makes sense for a high xp/hr method to also be high gp/hr
2.) I don’t think a triple spot is necessary since you only need a double to have almost full uptime
