Yes it prompts me to enter 2FA when logging in to the website, however it always tells me "The code is incorrect"

If you have a legacy account it should give you the option to disable the 2fa when you're prompted to enter it

Yes I know, I can reset it or disable it with an e-mail they send me, however I'm just really curious on why it all of a sudden its not working anymore.
since its just basically a mathematical formula and depending on time.
Could it be that the device that the authenticator is on, is not connected to the internet, therefore wont work? it always used to work like this, until now?

I would guess that you're either using the wrong 2fa, or the time isn't set correctly on the device that has the 2fa app. An internet connection isn't required.

nah im 100% sure because its the only code I store on that device

It's a late response but what happens if you key in the previous generated code AFTER you get another code on the second 2FA login page?
