Can't lose HCGIM Status, but Group is non-HC | Old School RuneScape | Page 1

All of my friends have stopped playing, so I'm solo. My char is stuck as HCGIM, but when I invited a new player to it, they are blue helmet. My char is red helm HCGIM. I can't join or create raid parties because of this. I've died dozens of time since my acc was made. The group tab shows as a blue helm group with the lives interface gone. Not sure what to do, I put a ticket in 10 days ago but I'm wondering if anyone knows some kind of workaround to get the game to check my HC status. I've tried dying in all kinds of situations. Would rather not leave my group.

Have you tried using the official client to rule out runelite plugins causing issues?

Wanting to look at some more information about this - Are you at the Node by any chance? Also - can you send me a screenshot of your Lives interface and character textbox to see?

If I recall - you may have needed to boot your friends out of the group - but players cannot join your HCGIM as it will turn into a Group Ironman instead. What may have occured bug wise is if you friends left - costing lives - but your invites may have caused an issue to not lose your HCGIM status.

You can perhas speak to the Ironman NPC at Lumbridge to speak of your status.

They didn't leave, I had lost all of the lives long before the group members changed, but it's been a blue-helm group since I ran out of lives, my char status hasn't changed though.

I've tried to lower my group through the Ironman NPC but it won't let me.

Interestingly enough, you're showing up as a Regular account on the hiscores for me.

So your Hardcore stayed, but your alt is also now in the group for normal group.
