Hello,
I’d like to propose a new feature that I believe would bring a fresh layer of excitement and community engagement to Old School RuneScape: Clan Highscores.
In OSRS, clans play a significant role in the community, from socializing to engaging in events and bossing. However, there’s no current way to track and compare clan achievements across different activities, which can make it difficult for clans to showcase their accomplishments.
suggestion:
Clan Highscore System
This feature would display the top-ranking clans in various categories such as:
Total Clan XP – A combined XP total for all active clan members across all skills.
Bossing Performance – Top clans based on boss kills, with categories for each boss (e.g., Vorkath, Zulrah, etc.).
PvP Success – Track the clan’s performance in PvP activities, such as Clan Wars and Castle Wars.
Minigame Mastery – Rankings based on clan participation in minigames, like Barrows, Pest Control, and more.
Skilling Competitions – Highlight clans who excel in skilling competitions or have the most members with maxed or high-level skills.
This would be an opt-in system, with clans choosing to join and represent themselves in the rankings. Clans could have a leaderboard on the official website or directly in the game interface, making it easy for both new and existing members to see how they stack up against others.
Benefits of Clan Highscores:
Clan Recognition – More ways for clans to showcase their achievements, making them a central part of the community.
Increased Clan Engagement – Encourages friendly competition, with members working together to climb the rankings.
Motivation to Achieve – More goals for clans to strive for, from maxing total XP to dominating bossing leaderboards.
Stronger Community – Fosters a greater sense of unity and pride within clans, as they come together for collective achievements.
