I dont know if you want to make a point here or if you actually think that would be a real possibility but i dont think we should make threads about things that are completely unrealistic and will never happen. Even if its just to make a point

Voluntary donations for great content would probably be a good addition to the game if the money goes to the right people, then it's a win-win. For all the right reasons.

How would you decide who "actually cares" about the game and who to fire? Where does the subscription money go to if Devs are paid via Patreon now? Do you actually think they would get enough money via Patreon to make a living? The whole team, not just the 2-3 well known JMods? Support? What the hell does happen to the Jagex which is owned partly by CVC? Do you propose to crowdfund 900 MILLION dollars to buy Jagex back from them so they can make a change like this?

The point is, there are other ways to monetise the actual game rather than just squeeze every last penny out of non-sensical "features"
