The reason it was locked was due to a lack of engagement and pushing out other topics however the thread is the second like it and has broad appeal and almost all people who have seen it or engaged with the previous discussions agree that it is almost universally a great idea. If there is an issue with it being bumped twice a day then that is understandable however I disagree with it being permanently locked.
It was commented previously that game suggestions with high approval may be brought to the dev team's attention, if the thread is to be locked could we potentially have a mod comment on the feasibility of such a change being made to the item protection system?
Further, much like the bot busting streams it would be genuinely funny if some of the Mods did a stream talking about good, bad and downright silly game play design changes made by community members. Seeing some actual consideration for widely popular community suggestions could be entertaining even if we as players mostly come up with pretty poor ideas or changes that would fundamentally break the game at a technical level.
