Add more content and paths to rooftops
Each city’s rooftop could only be accessed from the rooftop course with the appropriate agility level.
Possible activities:
Low level Hunter - catch birds on rooftops with snares. Great for F2P cities as an intro to hunter.
High level Hunter/thieving - send a magpie down to steal from stalls
High level Slayer - city gargoyles. Higher or lower slayer level / monsters? Would any other slayer monsters be appropriate on top of buildings? Cockatrice which are also birds?
Firemaking. Clean chimneys, collecting soot.
Thieving - steal from chests.
Goal:
Provide additional rewards/unlocks for training agility
Release new content within traditional cities rather than in far flung areas
How would I access this content? How would rooftops change?
Content would be on a mix of existing rooftops used by the courses and new rooftops made accessible via this expansion. Most obstacles would become two way rather than one way, making the rooftops more like an area and less like a course. There might also be new entrances/exits. The “lap” path would still be shown by foot marks & plugins (which are when baked into the Jagex client these days). The last obstacle of a course would still award more XP than the others, but this XP would be scaled based on the number of roofs you've jumped between. So if you climb up a new entrance in the middle and then finish a lap you'd only get about half the XP. This “partial completion” logic could also apply to eg the Ape Atoll agility course and entering from the middle with the fairy ring.
