(inspired by the rune dragon and venator bow)

A new spell that offers arch damage that jumps from one target to another and another deals most damage to the primary and reduces damage as it bounces off each target maxed at 3 like the venator bow and with a small chance to stun.

And a single target strike that offers slightly more damage with a higher chance of stunning.

Maybe even a new rune to go with it.

(Storm rune) ( arch rune) ( static rune)

A new mini quest could be a potentially fun way to introduce this.

A combination of cosmic + nature + steam + death rune to create it or just a new unique way to make it altogether.

Interesting idea, but I imagine most places you could think to use it, you'd probably just be better off barraging. I could maybe see this being the spell for like a powered staff or something though.

I like the ideas here, but I think it'll be a bit before we get new runes or a new spell book. It's a big enough addition that I think they'll want to figure out the new skill and what they're doing with the prayer book first

Also the soul alter isn't even in the game yet. Idk if they'll flesh out new runecrafting alters/mechanics until that's in too

I guess it would be an alternative to the venator bow but for magic.

Barrage spells will only attack 9 squares based on who you attack..

Where the arch spell would be very much like the venator bow can bounce up to 2 squares to hit the additional target and maybe even bounce back hitting the primary target 🎯 again for small damage.

If not a new alter for making new runes than perhaps a mini quest that rewards knowledge in making the new rune by combining available runes, to burn ❤️‍🔥 supply.

Cosmic, steam, nature, law, death, mud, astral runes to me makes the most sense, how many and what order / limit I'm unsure 🤔

Maybe if we get Ritual of the Mahjarrat we'll get Storm of Armadyl. This sounds like exactly the kind of Old-School twist that spell could get in this version of the game. 🤔
