Black chins are in level 30 wilderness right? Don't untradeables like the guild hunter outfit and graceful set just get deleted if you die past lvl 20 wilderness?
Items Kept on Death is a menu accessed from the Worn Equipment button on the Interface that shows which items players will keep when they die. Normally, the three most valuable items will be kept upon death, where the value of the item is either determined by its Grand Exchange values, or their item value if not tradeable on the Grand Exchange. ...
Ah ok nope just tried it out in game with above wild lvl 20 checked you're correct
they get deleted if they're not protected, yes. That's what happened. But if they had a higher item value, they would be protected instead of black chins
It seems like they're going to be protected
until you start catching chins
this should receive attention, fair unreasonable to lose the set for b chins
They should just let us choose what to protect at this point
Default to most expensive but let us swap what stays with us after death
True true. The guy bumping that thread daily was quite annoying but it is a good idea
imo items like the hunters outfit should just be reclaimable like pets / added to perdu
that if you ever mess up in some way and lose it you arent punished by a grind, but just by GP
I agree with that as well
Yeah you can always swap to armor and wildy Skilling is meant to be higher risk
But you shouldn't have to regrind an entire Skilling outfit that can take tens of hours to get in some cases
But you should still be punished beyond losing your inventory
yeah so just add a decently big gp cost to reclaiming it so youre still risking
Having to pay Perdu for recovery fees would be fair if it was made prohibitively expensive or increased in cost over time
