#I'd love an armoury for POHs

I think that a room where you can store weapons and armour would be really cool.

You could have a locker that stores 1 of each of the boss weapons (Like the costume room), a small shelf for storing the god books, set of racks on each wall for storing staffs, bows, and melee weapons, 3 armour stands in the corners for holding a set of equipment and in the centre a raised dais where you can quick equip a set of the armour and weapons, fantasy Ironman style.

Obviously it'd need a high construction level and I'd say that the quick equip dais should probably also need high magic and smithing.

I just like the idea of a POH being an upgrade to the bank.

you shouldn't be able to store bis gear in poh

#

maybe my hot take

#

armor sets are different (which you can already do btw) because it's 3 pieces for a full set, which typically range from minor to medium amounts of stat bonuses/set effects

#

weapons are typically big on their own evenw ithout gear

#

eh im not sure, im not late enough in my uim to make an accurate judgement on it

#

uims have extra restrictions with sets bc you need to have the full set to withdraw from poh

#

so they become ""permanent" bag/inv slots used until you finish the set

#

but with singular items?

#

would be broken

1: I don't think that a feature should be vetoed because it affects a small percentage of the player base, especially not when the affect it has is a positive one.
2: An Ultimate Ironman at 90~ish construction has earnt the ability to store some weapons and armour.

uims don't store weapons in the poh i'm p sure

#

bis weapons basically, yea, aren't storable

#

also wdym "when the effect it has is a positive one"

#

legit 99% of non-uims i know, store literally everything in the bank

#

almost no one actually stores shit in the poh

#

so yea, sure, it might be a positive one, but it will also be something that ""affects a small percentage of the player base""

#

bc no one does it

#

out of the people that actually do store things in their poh that i know of rn

#

100% of them store only the items that they literally never use ever

#

bc it would be a waste of bank space

#

yea

#

i'd be interested to see how many uims vote yes/no to something like this though

#

because i actually think most uims would vote no

I would argue that this more something for the completionists to chase and the people who host house parties to flex.

If it really bugged UIM that much I'm sure you could just make it not work for UIM or be heavily restricted for UIM even though it's fully inline with the precedent set by the armour case and magic wardrobe

#

Yes, and on that note another thing for the room could be some form of remote access (Some kind of magic connection) that lets you access your armoury from your bank.
It would have to be EXTREMELY expensive which would then give Jagex another tool to deal with gp inflation.
Another benefit is that it would help keep high end weapons rare as suddenly high end players are buying extras just to put in their house to flex.

what if there was a room in your poh where you could store anything you wanted so you didnt have to keep it in your inventory

#

to balance it you could limit it to say 600 slots

#

and because its annoying to have to go to your poh all the time you should be able to access it outside of it as well

#

but doing it from anywhere would be pretty OP, so what if there were specific locations you could access it from? these could br placed next to important hotspots like the GE, lunar isle, falador, lumbridge, mage arena etc

#

i think this suggestion would really change the game for the better

#

if this suggestion was to be able to access your bank (but only one-way) from your poh, as long as it was expensive/restrictive enough i'd be ok with it

#

something cheap enough that players would perhaps be interested, but expensive enough so it's not trivial

#

something like 500mil would feel fair imo
