#Set Poll Questions Default to Skip

There should never be a default so people are always forced to select an option, no matter what that option should be so that no questions ever get accidentally skipped.
People can vote as they please whether or not they've read it, that is their prerogative, but setting any default, even if skip just leads to more accidents and issues.

#

It would impact the direction of the player who misses a question which is unfair to them entirely because you cannot change your vote (and you shouldn't be able to either).
Its much safer to make someone select a choice so they atleast give it some thought than automatically apply skip.

#

again, anything that fills something for you without you manually selecting a result is a bad thing as you dont fully know what youre opting towards.

#

Players should always have to select the choice that they prefer to vote, regardless of their reasons for selecting it

#

people van vote whatever they want however they want. that is their choice.

#

My point is id rather players select anything and knowing choose an option, than people skipping things they accidentally missed.

#

Just because someone votes in a way you don't like/accept/appreciate, doesn't make it wrong.

#

Manually clicking them will always be better because its acknowledging having seen every question. a button that fills in answers means people have the chance of missing things. This always should be a priority. Even if its a very minor inconvenience.

Id rather know people who voted got to make their own choice than take results going "i wonder if people accidentally skipped this one and didn't get their chance to voice their selection"

Such a button could lead to higher poll participation.

I'll assume y'all Jagex has some UX researchers educated in survey design & evaluating questions like "Should I make survey questions required?" A random survey monkey article also suggests skip as an option improves completion results, and it's not really that much work

#

I can definitely imagine "oh let me get my one highest priority question in now, skip everything else & come back later" as something folks would do. But without being able to come back later I don't think that's a great experience

On mobile I sometimes scroll past a question on some of the longer polls.
I think it's nice to get a warning when I miss a question.
