Retribution replacement - time bomb

[fresh trail]

Jagex proposed the Wrath Prayer as a Ruinous Power replacement for the normal spellbook's Retribution prayer.

Some problems:
Retribution is an almost never used prayer - who wants to die to deal damage? I've only ever seen this used in a meme YouTube video.
A 5x5 blast radius doesn't solve the above problem.

Fix options:
Just remove this from the prayer list
There have been cool posts on here about "blast prayers". Use one of those or the below

One replacement for Retribution could be a ticking time bomb, akin to the blast prayers above.

Turn on the overhead prayer. Wait a few ticks. Boom! Deal 15% prayer damage to everything in a radius. Drain some significant prayer amount from yourself. Turn off the prayer or reset the timer.

Hm. If it ticked down fast enough, you could almost end up with a passive damage aura around the player's melee range—actively discouraging enemies from attacking with melee. 🤔

Yeah, in PvP you'd probably want to run away from the bomb. Though no protection prayers up would also be a good time to attack

Either slow timing or high prayer drain could limit use. At 20+ prayer drain per use, it would drain prayer potions & points pretty quickly

At an 10+ tick delay, you'd have to plan for it a bit. Cast entangle before turning this on in PvP? Or start using it early in anticipation of warden core for PvM?
